Barbaro Brothers was the pilot butcher and since 2012 they have been using technology built by The Bear Bytes to double the amount of orders they can take over Xmas. This is a substantial increase in revenue due to software efficiency.
Macellaio allowed Barbaro Brothers to double their order capacity by using a workflow designed by The Bear Bytes and both cloud and on-premises hosting of the software we made in:
- Allowing for orders to be stored in one location that can be searched and reported on throughout the year
- Provide a printed receipt of the order for the customer
- Keep record of payments/deposits made on the Order
- Strategically allow for Orders to be prepared in advanced and before they are due to be delivered/picked up
- Track who is currently preparing an Order in the busy days/nights leading up to Xmas
- Alert staff to where the Order is being stored when the hundreds of Customers come to collect their meat in the days leading up to Xmas
